Okay, so my kidney stone dilemma is finally over.
I had an operation on Jan. 27th in the hospital, and a pretty goddamn invasive one at that.
They're like, "oh don't worry we're putting numbing jelly in so you won't feel much".
I swear the numbing jelly is defective.
Putting in the jelly hurt, but it was over quick.
When the camera went in, my god son it was three times as bad for a few minutes.
Soooo yeah, the X-ray and bladder were clear.
I had actually passed a stone a couple days before the operation date, so I was really relieved to know that I had only one stone in there and not a lot that were stuck.
Now I'm waiting on the lab results for what kind of stones I have.
Hopefully I can get some information on future prevention, because stones aren't fun as I now know.
And pissing through a sieve for a month is just... why man.
On another note, you may have noticed that I've been monsterly inactive lately.
And there is a reason my children.
I'm applying for post-secondary education, so I can get my ass into 2-D animation.
I am really hoping to get into Sheridan college's Bachelor program, and the deadline to send in is Feb. 14th.
Unfortunately with my kidney stone incidents it put me a tad behind, so I've been working non-stop and therefore have had to time to log onto deviantART or even make any other art to post.
If I can't get into Sheridan this year, I am applying to two other colleges in my area (British Columbia) to improve my skills to try again for Sheridan next year.
But I am really hoping that I can manage this year.
I know it's hard to get into because of the demand/expectations etc. but I really want to start my life out there.
I won't have the results until March/April, so I'll report back later.
After my portfolio is sent I'll begin posting regularly.
Also also, my birthday is near and I'll be 19, legal drinking age.
My mom is taking me to a bar to get shit-faced.
The only problem is I can't stand the taste of beer/wine.
I'll probably start out trying a pina colada, and if I can't stand it I'm off alcohol for good. ;D
And because I'll be legally an adult my parents are finally letting me get a tattoo, so I'm really stoked.
I'm getting stars around my elbows, I've wanted them for five years.
It'll hurt, but less than the damned operation.
After I get them I'll have to update my dA ID to be more bitchin'.
